Dr. Regina Siciliano, was born and raised on the beach in Monmouth County New Jersey. Growing up playing soccer and lacrosse, Regina has always been drawn to an active lifestyle. In the fall of her senior year of high school, Regina sustained an ACL injury had surgery and received physical therapy. The PT she received allowed her to pursue her spring sport of lacrosse. Regina’s personal physical therapy experience is not only shaping her future, but will translate into relaying a positive attitude towards the athletes she treats.
Regina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Italian Studies from the University of South Carolina in 2011.
After 3 years of working full time in a pathology lab, Regina decided to change careers and apply to DPT programs, in order to begin a more rewarding career as a physical therapist.
Regina graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree in May 2017. Following graduation, Regina moved to Boston to pursue a 13 month Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital & Northeastern University. She gained valuable experiences in the clinic at MGH, in the athletic training room and on the sidelines for Northeastern University athletics as well as outdoor events including all Boston Athletic Association (BAA) races. She recently passed here boards as a sports certified specialist.
In her spare time, Regina lives in Boston and enjoys exploring the city, running, cooking, traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, and is a self-proclaimed “beach bum”, always seeking time by the water with her feet in the sand.
We at FOUNDATIONperformance are so glad to bring her on our team and add to our amazing staff of PTs.
