Lynn Johnson MS, PT, OCS, CSCS graduated cum laude in 1995 from Holy Cross with a BA in Biology. She then continued her education and graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 1998. Since graduation she has worked in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation becoming a certified strength and conditioning specialist in 2007 and a board certified orthopedic specialist in 2009. She is certified in Graston, Dry Needling, and SFMA as well as has training in Spinal Manipulation/Mobilization.
Lynn has 17 years of experience utilizing manual techniques and exercise having spent the last 14 years treating the local community of Plainville, MA where she has established herself as a resource for many area coaches and athletes.
Lynn has a passion for long distance running. While at Holy Cross she was a member of the cross-country and track teams, captaining both her senior year. She was a DIV-1 ALL New England, ALL Patriot League, ALL ECAC performer in cross-country, as well as on the track in the 5000 and 10000. She was awarded Crusader of the Year her senior year for her athletic and academic achievements and was inducted into the Holy Cross Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010. Post collegiately, she ran for the Greater Boston Track Club (GBTC) and has completed over 15 marathons and numerous half marathons. Since having her daughter, Sarah, in 2011, she trains more locally with the Wampanoag Road Runners and hopes to return to the racing scene very soon. When not running Lynn spends her free time with Sarah, her husband Steve, and yellow lab Bagwell.
She has been a vital member of the FOUNDATIONperformance team since 2013, and brings her passion for running to her treatments with her runners/endurance athletes.
