Michael and Carla Silva have assembled a team of professionals who embrace and practice their mission statement. Their collective commitment to patient and staff alike truly sets this group apart. Each employee, from administrative staff to physical training assistants, works as a team to support the physical therapy and training professionals. In return the professionals provide a nurturing educational environment in which both patients/clients and training assistants learn to assume an active role in improving physical performance and health. I have had the opportunity to experience their holistic, hands-on approach for nearly a year following two separate surgeries. Based on prior experience, I know that I would not have achieved the gains I’ve made without their dedication and encouragement. Most notable among the team is Dr. Heather MacDonald. Heather invests herself in each individual with whom she works. She is remarkable in her ability to relate to her patients and inspire them to be actively involved in their recovery. My persistent recovery is a testimony to the dedication of the Foundation Performance Team.
